Bandits can never hold Nigeria sway again – Lai Mohammed

  The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has said never again will bandits and cohorts hold Nigeria sway again. According to Mohammed, this is because the military is winning the war against insecurity and succeeding in restoring peace to the country. Troops kill several bandits involved in attack on NDA Kaduna

  Notorious bandit Boderi Isiya, who was responsible for the attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA has narrowly escaped being neutralized by troops of the Nigerian Army . A statement by the Kaduna State Government, however, revealed that his deadly second in command and several other fighters were gunned down by the troops. INEC reveals how it conquered hackers from Asia

  The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, has revealed how the commission conquered hackers from Asia, who, on several occasions, launched cyber attacks on its portal during the Ekiti/Osun governorship election. Yakubu said the hackers were on rampage and launched several cyber attacks on its portal to gain access and compromise authentic election results. Buhari’s visit: Imo govt dismisses IPOB’s sit-at-home threat

  Imo State Government has dismissed the sit-at-home threat issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra against the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to the state on Tuesday. The state’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, stated this on Saturday while reacting to IPOB’s sit-at-home order declared in the state on Tuesday. Biafra: IPOB announces Tuesday sit-at-home in South-East

  The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has declared that next Tuesday, September 13, will be sit-at-home in the South-East. This was contained in a statement signed by IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, on Saturday. The pro-Biafran group stated that the directive was in solidarity with its detained leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who will be appearing in court on that day. They insisted that there shall be a total lockdown of the whole five states in the South-East for two reasons: Kanu’s court appearance and the visit of President Muhammad Buhari to Owerri, Imo State.
