BOOM!! Pastor Adeboye Reveals Man Who Borrowed Money From Bank To Sponsor RCCG Convention - See What Happens To Him

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has shared the testimony of how a man borrowed money to sponsor RCCG convention in a particular year and later became chairman of the bank he borrowed from.

He gave the testimony in his message today July 26, titled, the shortest way to the greatest height, the part 7 in the series, “From lockdown to leaping up”

The message was monitored on Dove Media by Church Times.

The RCCG overseer was ostensibly urging his listeners to make God a priority if they are going to get a quantum leap in life.

On the man who became chairman of the bank he borrowed money from, Adeboye said, ‘he came to me and said he wanted to sponsor the convention. He wanted to know how much it would cost. I told him I could not give a figure of that particular year but I could give him the figure of the previous year. So I gave him the figure.

I thought he would shrink back. But he did not. He came later and brought the draft for the money. I was shocked.’

Adeboye said he later found out that he had gone to borrow the money. ‘But the good news is that he  became the chairman of the bank he borrowed from.’

The RCCG Overseer then said seeking God first is the shortest way to get to the top citing the example of Solomon in the Bible who asked for wisdom instead of wealth but God ended up blessing him with so much wealth.

He cited several other examples of people who became outstanding because they chose to do the will of God first.

According to him, the purpose of prosperity must be to do the will of God. ‘You must ask yourself why do you want to prosper. The Bible encourages us to seek the kingdom of God first and other things will be added. ‘ he said.

Quoting several scriptures to authenticate his message, he said the believers’ purpose to get wealth should be to ‘attract more friends to the kingdom of God. It should be to be a kingdom treasurer and that the believer wants to populate God’s kingdom’

He said to whom much is given much is expected, adding that God should be number one in one’s agenda if one is to attain greatness.

Meanwhile, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has debunked reports that he endorsed former Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Peter Obi for president in 2023.

Report by some online medium had claimed that the popular cleric endorsed Peter Obi when members of CAN paid him a courtesy call at his residence in Lagos State.

He was allegedly quoted as saying “In the past, I have supported all the candidates that sort for my support, but today, I’m calling on all and sundry to rally round and support the emergence of Mr. Peter Obi of Anambra state ahead of the next general election.”

But reacting Adeboye’s son, Leke Adeboye on his Twitter page described the report as ‘fake news.

He wrote, “FAKING NEWS!!! Jobless people. (Their brain must be on lockdown.)

HORROR! 7 Students Fall To Their Deaths After Balcony Railing Breaks At Bolivian College (GRAPHIC VIDEO)

Seven Bolivian college students were killed and five others injured after an indoor balcony railing broke and sent them plummeting, some as far as four floors, to the ground.   As a large number of students crowded into a fourth-floor hallway at the Public University of El Alto near the Bolivian capital on Tuesday morning, the balcony railing apparently buckled and gave way. Several students lost their balance and fell to the ground 17 meters (55 feet) below. The horrific incident was captured by bystanders in graphic footage, which also shows the brave actions of students who reached over the open edge to prevent others from falling. A few victims landed on the third floor rather than dropping all the way to the ground level. The seven fatalities were confirmed by Bolivia’s Special Force to Fight Crime. Three died at the scene, while the other four perished from their injuries at hospitals around El Alto, according to local media reports.   The deadly incident happened during...

Cursed’ ship found completely intact 90 years after sinking

Cursed’ ship found completely intact 90 years after sinking ARCHAEOLOGISTS were thrilled when a 90-year-old "cursed" shipwreck was found in Canadian waters completely intact more than 90 years after it sank. SS Manasoo was a passenger vessel of 529 tonnes built in 1888 in Glasgow and began daily journeys from Hamilton to Toronto that year. But on September 15, 1928, the ship foundered off Griffith Island , Georgian Bay, with 16 lives lost while fighting a heavy storm, and capsized when her cargo of 116 cattle apparently shifted to one side. The recent addition of increased passenger accommodation on its upper deck is thought to have contributed to the instability and all five of the survivors drifted for 60 hours in a lifeboat before being picked up by a passing ship. But sailors have another theory. Originally owned by the S.S. Macassa Hamilton Steamship Company, the Scottish-built vessel was renamed SS Manasoo, its new title reflected the primary ports of call, Manitoulin I...
